Since coffee was introduced to Guatemala in the late 1700s, the country has been producing some of the world's finest, most desired coffee. These beans are selected from small growers in the La Libertad & Todos Santos municipalities of the Guatemalan department of Huehuetenango. The unique geographical characteristics of this region make it possible to cultivate coffee at altitudes up to 1,900 meters as warm air from the Pacific Ocean is mixed with cool air of the non-volcanic Cuchumatanes mountains, thereby cultivating the highest quality of beans.
